Aureli's US bank connections are powered by Stripe Financial Connections, Stripe's account linking platform. If you live in the US you can link your bank accounts to Aureli and have your balances sync automatically throughout the day.
Access is read-only. Aureli can fetch your balances and basic account metadata, and nothing else — we cannot move money, change any details at your bank, or initiate payments. See Bank connections for the full breakdown.
Coverage
Stripe Financial Connections supports over 5,000 US financial institutions and can instantly link more than 97% of US bank accounts, so the overwhelming majority of US readers will find their bank covered.
Rather than publish a list (which would be out of date the moment it is published), Stripe maintains live coverage across the major US banks, regional banks, and credit unions. That includes, among many others:
- Bank of America
- Chase
- Wells Fargo
- Capital One
- Citi
- US Bank
- PNC Bank
- TD Bank
- Huntington Bank
- Navy Federal Credit Union
Smaller regional banks and most credit unions are supported through the same flow. During the connection flow you will search for your bank by name and authenticate through the bank's own login screen.
My bank is not supported
If Stripe cannot connect to your bank, you will still be able to track the account in Aureli by adding it manually and entering the balance yourself. Manual accounts behave exactly like connected accounts everywhere else in Aureli — they feed into your net worth, allocation, and reports.
Stripe adds new institutions regularly, so a bank that isn't supported today may be supported later. You don't need to do anything — we will pick up new banks automatically as Stripe rolls them out.
Other regions
- UK: see Supported UK banks.
- Everywhere else: you can add accounts manually. Multi-currency is fully supported — see Multi-currency portfolios.
