Deleting Your Account

If you no longer want to use Aureli, you can delete your account from the profile page. Deletion is not immediate — there is a 14-day grace period so you can change your mind.

How to delete your account

1. Go to Profile from the account menu.
2. Open the Delete Account tab.
3. Click Delete Account and confirm.

Your account is then scheduled for permanent deletion 14 days from the date of the request.

What happens during the grace period

During the 14-day window:

• Your account remains active and you can still log in.
• A banner appears on the profile page showing the scheduled deletion date.
• You can cancel the deletion at any time by clicking Cancel Deletion.

What happens after 14 days

Once the grace period ends, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted. This includes:

• Your profile and authentication details
• All portfolios you own
• All assets, debts, and their valuation history
• Bank connections
• AI chat history
• Subscription and billing records

This action is irreversible. Data cannot be recovered after deletion.

Cancelling a scheduled deletion

If you change your mind during the 14-day window:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Click Cancel Deletion on the alert banner.

Your account returns to normal and the deletion is cancelled.
