This week referrals got a proper welcome and a faster reward, and your portfolio updates now pick better movers. Here is what changed over the past week.
Referrals are clearer and pay out sooner
When a friend opens your referral link, they now land on a page that tells them they have £10 off Aureli Pro and what their first year costs, rather than the ordinary home page. Their discount is then saved to their account, and it shows on the pricing page too.
Your own £10 credit now comes off your next Aureli invoice as soon as your friend makes their first annual payment, rather than after a wait. A code typed into the promotion field at checkout counts the same as the link.
Referrals are for yearly Pro plans paid on the web. If you pay for Pro through the App Store or Google Play, credit can't come off that bill. It stays on your Aureli account and comes off your first invoice if you switch to paying on the web.
Portfolio updates pick better movers
The holdings listed in your portfolio update are now the ones that moved your net worth most, ranked by the money they moved. Before, a small balance falling to zero could appear above the funds that did the real work. You will see this in your update emails and on the updates page.
We've recalibrated AI credits
We've recalibrated Aureli AI credits, so Standard (Claude Haiku 5.5) and Enhanced (Claude Sonnet 5.5) now use fewer credits and you get more messages from them. Expert (Claude Opus 5.5) uses more. A typical message is about half a credit on Standard, about one on Enhanced and about ten on Expert, so Standard goes the furthest.
Reconnect your AI assistant once
We updated how AI assistants such as Claude connect to Aureli. If you connected one earlier, you will need to approve access again the next time you use it. You will see the consent screen, where you can choose what it is allowed to do. You can still remove an app any time under Security.
Smaller fixes
- Notifications now name the portfolio when you have more than one, for example "Net worth decreased • Business".
- Saving a scenario that has lump sums no longer fails in some cases.
- Asset and debt breakdowns by class now convert holdings in other currencies at live exchange rates.
- An asset's Details tab lets you record a wrapper, such as an ISA or pension, and an instrument. They are labels for now, so your totals and reports stay as they were.
- AI chat now fills the whole page.
That's the past week. If there's something you'd like to see in Aureli, tell us.
