Using AI Chat

Aureli includes an AI chat assistant that can answer questions about your portfolio, analyse your holdings, project future scenarios, and even record new valuations on your behalf.

What you can ask

The assistant has access to your portfolio data and can help with:

  • Portfolio overview — "What's my current net worth?" or "Give me an overview of my portfolio."
  • Asset allocation — "How are my assets allocated?" or "What percentage is in property?"
  • Largest holdings — "What are my biggest assets?" or "Show my largest debts."
  • Historical valuations — "How has my ISA performed over the last year?"
  • Currency conversion — "How much is £50,000 in USD?"
  • Scenario projections — "What will my net worth be in 10 years if my assets grow at 5%?"
  • Recording valuations — "Update my savings account to £12,500." (requires your approval before saving)

The assistant focuses on helping you understand your data. It does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or tax guidance.

AI model tiers

You can choose between different model tiers depending on the complexity of your question:

Switch between tiers using the selector at the top of the chat. Higher tiers provide more detailed and nuanced analysis.

Credits and limits

AI chat uses a credit system with daily and monthly allowances:

Credits reset at midnight UTC (daily) and at the start of each month (monthly). You can check your remaining credits on the Usage page.

When credits are running low, a warning appears in the chat. Once exhausted, the input is disabled until credits reset.

Approving valuations

When the assistant offers to record a valuation, it shows an approval card with the details — asset or debt name, amount, and date. You must explicitly approve before the valuation is saved. Nothing is written to your portfolio without your confirmation.

Chat history

Your conversation is saved automatically and persists across sessions. To start a fresh conversation, click the New chat button at the top of the page.

Plan requirements

AI chat is available on both plans, but with different limits and model access. LITE users have access to the Standard tier only. To unlock Enhanced and Expert tiers and higher credit limits, upgrade to PRO. View pricing and plans →
